COLORADO

Free. Free from the stress of the world.

Looking out across the mountains I didn't feel small, I felt big. I felt as though even though I was one person, I was one person who mattered. I was one person who could make a difference.

A couple of years ago my friend Dana and I decided to go on a very spur of the moment road trip to Colorado. Three days before we left we started to talk about it, but did not have any actual plans. We had no idea where to go, where to stay, or what they heck we were doing, but we just went.

It wasn't until we crossed the Colorado border that we decided we should probably find a place to stay. The two places we decided on was Gunnison National Park and Estes Park. While Gunnison was an absolute wonder, Estes Park stole my heart. We were right by the Rocky Mountains National Park and I was blown away.

Deer walk right up to you, the mountains envelope you in adventure, and your lungs thank you for the fresh air.

The reason I am sharing this story is to tell you to jump in. Don't hold back from the things you want to do because more likely than not there is not a better moment than right now. Don't let excuses like "I have no money" or "now's not the right time" stop you from doing ANYTHING YOU WANT. Take a chance. You not going to regret going.
